We are poised for continued rapid growth due to several factors. One of which is a noticeable market shift. Due to our past success, the demand for our technology is shifting form the “early-adopter” stage to the “mainstream.” With a total market of over 16,000 school districts and more than 450,000 school buses the future potential is enormous. When you couple the exciting market shift with the following environmental influences – growth is the only option. Due to the threat of terror, our Nation has developed and unprecedented level vigilance. The events of September 11th have brought a heightened awareness for the need to maximize safety and security for our children while on school buses. Another driving force for the demand of our technology is the rising cost of fuel. It is not uncommon for a school districts bus fleet to travel hundreds of thousands of miles, (some well over one million miles), per year.

The pressure of rising fuel costs has had a very strong effect on demand for our technology by forcing school bus operators to employ tools to help them operate more efficiently and reduce the number of miles traveled, and the amount of time their buses idle, therefore reducing the amount of fuel consumed. Another external economic / environmental factor helping to drive our market is the increase in double income households and the increase in single parent households. Today parents are placing a very high value on their time spent waiting for the school bus to pickup and drop off their children. Therefore the community is putting more and more pressure on school administrators to operate more efficiently. The combination of these factors has led to a tremendous call from school administrators and school bus company operators for us to help them meet these challenges with our GPS based solutions.
